What is Green Energy?

Green Energy is an all-natural dietary supplement with organic green tea and proteolytic enzymes to support sustained physical and mental energy.

What are the ingredients in Green Energy?

Each two-capsule serving of Green Energy provides 240mg of organic green tea extract; 2,500,000 PU of bromelain; 40,000 PC of protease (b. subtilis); 10,000 FU of nattokinase (100mg); 100,000 SPU of serratiopeptidase; and 20,000 HUT of protease (a. oryzae).

The other ingredients are a vegetable capsule (hypromellose) and organic rice concentrate.

How do I take Green Energy?

Each bottle of Green Energy contains 30 servings. Take two capsules daily, on an empty stomach. The capsules can be taken at one time (for example, two an hour after lunch) or spaced out (for example, one after breakfast and one after lunch) based on your preference.

By taking the capsules on an empty stomach, the enzymes bypass the digestive tract and work to break down excess proteins throughout the body.

What are the health benefits of Green Energy?

By helping to break down excess protein fragments, proteolytic enzymes optimize the flow of oxygen within the body, supporting natural, sustained energy.

Research shows that proteolytic enzymes may also support the health of muscles and joints, while studies show the proteolytic enzyme nattokinase supports heart health.

Green tea has a long list of benefits including supporting mental clarity and focus, along with supporting metabolic health. Together, the enzymes and green tea support natural energy.

What are the benefits of green tea?

Green tea is renowned for how it supports well-being, including supporting mental focus, clarity, metabolism, digestion, and cardiovascular health. Many of these benefits are attributed to the antioxidant epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), which is naturally-occuring in green tea.

How much caffeine is in Green Energy?

Green Energy has a trace amount of caffeine (estimated 2mg per serving). This means the energy people experience is from the sustained action of enzymes and antioxidants, and not a temporary boost from stimulants.

With such low caffeine, people generally report energy without a jittery feeling, and Green Energy won’t impact someone’s ability to sleep.

Is Green Energy gluten-free?

Yes, Green Energy is gluten-free! Testing confirms that Green Energy meets the level to be declared free of gluten.

Can everyone take Green Energy?

Almost everyone can benefit from the sustained natural energy that comes from proteolytic enzymes and organic green tea. However, Green Energy is not suitable for some people.

Children and pregnant women should not take the product. Those who are on blood thinners should consult with their physician before taking the product. And while there is no soy within the product, nattokinase is produced by a bacterium during the fermentation of non-GMO natto, so anyone with a soy allergy should check with their health care provider before using.

As with any dietary supplement, if someone has questions regarding its use and their unique health needs, they should check with their medical professional first.

What is Serratiopeptidase and how much is there in Green Energy?

Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme which supports the breakdown of proteins. In the case of the Serratiopeptidase Blend, the unit of measurement is SPU which stands for Serrapeptase Units. This shows how many active units of the enzyme are in each serving. With Green Energy, the serving size is 100,000 SPU per serving, which is a high potency amount.

Is the Serratiopeptidase derived from silk worms?

No, the Serratiopeptidase Blend is not derived from silk worms. While Serratiopeptidase was originally discovered in the gut of the silk worm, this enzyme is now cultivated via the bacteria Serratia marcescens so it is vegetarian friendly.

What is bromelain and how much is there in Green Energy?

Bromelain is derived from pineapple and this specific enzyme helps to break down proteins, with studies showing it supports the comfort of muscles and joints. In the case of Bromelain, the unit of measurement is PU which stands for Papain Units. This shows how many active units of the enzyme are in each serving. With Green Energy, the serving size is 2,500,000 PU per serving, which is a high potency amount.

What is nattokinase and how much is there in Green Energy?

Nattokinase is a potent proteolytic enzyme that supports cardiovascular health. Nattokinase is produced by the bacterium bacillus subtilis during the fermentation of non-GMO soybeans (natto). With the Nattokinase Blend, the unit of activity measurement is Fibrinolysis Units. Green Energy has 10,000 FU and which equates to 100mg of nattokinase per serving.

Can I take Green Energy with my medications?

Because proteolytic enzymes optimize blood flow, people who are on blood thinners should check with their doctor before use. As with any dietary supplement, if someone has questions regarding its use and their unique health needs, they should check with their medical professional first.

Is Green Energy vegan?

Green Energy is vegetarian-friendly. While all of the ingredients in Green Energy are plant-based, one of the enzymes (Serratiopeptidase) is cultured in a fermentation media that includes traces of dairy. Therefore, even though the enzyme does not contain dairy, we list this product as vegetarian instead of vegan to be fully transparent.

Are there any side effects from Green Energy?

People taking Green Energy typically note increased energy and mental clarity. The proteolytic enzymes and organic green tea may also support digestive health, joint mobility and recovery after exercise. Because proteolytic enzymes optimize blood flow, people who are on blood thinners should check with their doctor before adding Green Energy to their routine.

Can Green Energy be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

While the ingredients in Green Energy are all-natural, this supplement is not suitable during pregnancy due to how proteolytic enzymes can optimize blood flow. If nursing, check with your health care provider before use.
